I have the answer! Take your steak, and poke a knife into it to tenderize it!. Then take worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper and season it, with a sprinkle of garlic powder!. Heat your stove on high heat, heat your frying pan until it is hot also!. Put a small drizzle of olive oil in the pan so the steak won't stick!.Then put your steak on the hot pan ( you will hear it sizzle)!. Put a lid on it!. leave it on about 3 minutes then turn it over!. ( it will be brown on each side!. ) Just keep an eye on it to see how fast it cooks according to your stove!. Basically it takes about 6 minutes for a med rare steak!. I tell you this so you can have the rice, potatoe, veg etc timed so they will all finish at the same time!. ( Rice takes 30 minutes and vegetables take about 8 minutes!.) Your husband will love the steak!. ( I was a chef) and hopefully I have given you enough info so your dinner will come our ok!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Chicken fryed steak in a hot pan is good!. Just put the steak in some seasoned flour and shake off the excess and place it in a searing hot pan!. You will have smoke in the kitchen but this is the only way to cook it!. Remember not to over cook it since you will make it tough!.
also You can make a pepper crusted steak by rubbing one side of the steak with some cracked black pepper corns!. Just rub them right into the steak!. Then proceed to seer it in a hot pan again!. Flip it over and remember not to over cook!. You can tell by poking your finger real fast into the steak!. If it is soft then it is med!. or med rare!. if it feels firm then it is over cooked!.
Good Luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can broil it, if you have a broiler!. Simply season it and put under the broiler, cook until it is done how you like it!.
Or heat up a skillet, put some olive oil and your favorite seasonings on the steak, put it in the hot skillet and quickly sear on each side, turn heat down a bit and again cook until it is done how you like it!. We love ours medium rare!. The firmer the steak feels the more done it is!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Use McCormick's Montreal Steak Seasoning!. I would suggest maybe using a George Foreman grill if you have one!. If not, I would suggest a broiler in the oven!.
Make sure you know how he likes his steak!. People that like well done turn their noses up at rare and vice versa!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
