Would a Maple or honey glaze for carrots be good?!
I have broccoli & carrots cooking ( in seperate dishes) and i wanted to add a sweet glaze to the carrots when I realized I've never made it before!.

Apricot Honey Glazed Carrots
The blending of apricot nectar and honey enhances the natural sweetness of baby carrots!. This side dish will be loved by young and old alike!. Serve with any of your favorite entrées for a simple yet sophisticated accent!.
1 cup Apricot KERNS? from LIBBY'S Refrigerated All Nectar
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 pound baby carrots
COMBINE nectar and cornstarch in small bowl; mix until smooth!.
COOK carrots in boiling water for 10 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain!. Return to pan and add honey, butter and salt!. Add nectar mixture and cook over low heat for 5 minutes or until apricot glaze is thickened!.
Makes 4 servings!.
GLAZED CARROTS
1 1/2 pounds carrots, prepared and cooked
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp grated orange peel
2 TBSP butter
In large skillet, cook and stir brown sugar, salt, orange peel and butter until bubbly!. Add carrots, cook over low heat, stirring occassinally, about 5 minutes or until carrots are glazed and heated through!. Serves 5 - 6!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Absolutely!. I usually let the carrots that I have blanched, just sit in the syrup of my choice overnight!. This way, they are marinated and delicious!. I steam them the next day and they are so breathtaking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
add some honey to some orange juice to glaze your carrots!. You already have a sweet glaze on your ham!.!.!. you don't want to duplicate that taste!. So lighten it up with a little orange juice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
