Question: Low calorie, maybe low fat banana bread recipe!! pleaseee (:!?
so do you know a recipe that is low calorie for banana bread!? it wouldnt hurt if it was low fat too!
my mom is against using splenda because it has "cancer causing agents" lol, so is there a way to make it healthy using regular sugar, maybe not as much!?

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 egg
3 tablespoons sour cream
1 banana, mashed
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 apple, cored and chopped
1/2 cup walnut, Chopped
Directions
1Preheat oven to 350 deg F!.
2Cream butter and sugars, and beat in eggs!.
3Stir in sour cream, banana and vanilla!.
4In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda and cinnamon!.
5Gradually add to butter mixture!.
6Gently stir in apples and nuts!.
7Spoon into greased bread pan and bake 1 hour!.


sourdough banana bread
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 cup mashed banana
1 cup sourdough starter
2 cups unbleached flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup chopped walnut
1 teaspoon vanilla or grated orange rind
Directions
1Cream together the shortening and sugar, add egg and mix until blended!.
2Stir in bananas and sourdough starter!.
3Add orange peel or vanilla!.
4Stir flour and measure again with salt, baking powder and soda!.
5Add flour mixture and walnuts to the first mixture, stirring until just blended!.
6Pour into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan!.
7Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean!.
