put the pasta in the boling pan and after a while add some crystalised salt!. before that prepare a bowl of oil tomato soup (not ketchup, but the one u buy in cans) every 2 minutes take one piece of pastaand test the hardness, take the pasta out, not when it shicks to the wall, but when it is just a little hard, since it will cook a little more after u take it out, and put it in the bowl, and if u want to add sum more aroma u can put sum basil leafs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 (16 ounce) package small shell pasta
3/4 cup ranch salad dressing
1/4 cup sour cream
1/3 cup bacon bit
1/4 cup sliced green onion
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
1Cook pasta according to package directions; drain under cold water!.
2In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, dressing, bacon bits, onions and garlic powder!.
3Toss to mix well!.
4Chill until ready to serve!.

Basic Pasta

INGREDIENTS

* 1-1/3 egg, beaten
* 3/4 teaspoon salt
* 1-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
* 2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons water

DIRECTIONS

1!. In a medium sized bowl, combine flour and salt!. Make a well in the flour, add the slightly beaten egg, and mix!. Mixture should form a stiff dough!. If needed, stir in 1 to 2 tablespoons water!.
2!. On a lightly floured surface, knead dough for about 3 to 4 minutes!. With a pasta machine or by hand roll dough out to desired thinness!. Use machine or knife to cut into strips of desired width!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

2) Use LOTS of water in proportion to the amount of pasta!.
3) Bring the water to a full boil before you put the pasta in!.
4) Keep on eye on it; you can't cook pasta by the clock!. The best way to know it's done is to fish a piece out and bite it!. As soon as it's not crunchy -- but before it gets mushy! -- drain the pasta!.
