How to cook Portuguese pork?!
I bought a marinated Cacoila, which is just like pulled pork!. I want to cook it in the crock pot all day tomorrow!. How many hours should I leave it in there!? also, I wanted to throw in potatoes, should I put them in raw and let them sit all day with the cacoila!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

2 pounds cacoila
2 green bell peppers, seeded and chopped
2 sweet onion, peeled and chopped
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 cup red wine
1/4 cup olive oil
1 cup water
2 tablespoons crushed garlic
DIRECTIONS
In a slow cooker, combine the meat, green pepper, onion, tomato paste, wine, oil, water, and crushed garlic!. Stir so that everything is evenly distributed!. Cover, and set on Low!. Cook for 8 hours!. Uncover the pot, and cook an additional 2 hours to allow some of the liquid to evaporate!. Serve over rice, or with Portuguese rollsWww@FoodAQ@Com
