Question: Help! making chicken strips but I dont have any oil to fry them in!?
can I use my regular recipe ( flour, egg, breadcrumb) and put them in the oven!? if so how long and what temp!?
If not please give me a simple recipe to make baked chicken strips!. Thank youWww@FoodAQ@Com

Bake them!.
Place on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray!.
Bake at 375 degrees F, for 10-12 minutes, until crispy on outside and lightly browned!.

yes!.!.!.!.!.350 degrees for an hour!.!.!.!.maybe 45 min!. if they're just strips!.
For oven fry, I usually dip chicken in melted butter and roll in crushed potato chips (bread crumbs would work too) Then bake on a cookie sheet 1 hour at 350 degrees!. Great stuff!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes you could do the way you suggested!. Probably gas mark 5/6, or 180ish!. Timing really depends on how thick the strips are, start with 15 minutes then check them!.

If you wanted to fry them you could use butter or dry fry them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

*Crispy Baked Chicken Strips

2 boneless skinless chicken breast half
1 egg, beaten
2 cups finely crushed cracker crumb or plain breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon table salt or kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon chili powder

1!.Cut chicken breasts into thin strips, about one inch wide!.
2!.Longer sections can be cut in half to have uniform pieces!.
3!.Mix cracker crumbs and seasonings well!.
4!.Dip chicken pieces into egg mixture, then dredge in crumb mixture!.
5!.Place on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray!.
6!.Bake at 375 degrees F, for 10-12 minutes, until crispy on outside and lightly browned!.

*Spicy Baked Chicken Strips

1!.5 lbs boneless chicken, cut into strips (or, just buy the tenders, but I don't like them b/c of that weird tendon bit they have!.!.!.I just used boneless chicken breasts and sliced them into 1 1/2" strips)
flour
2 eggs
1 cup cornmeal
1 1/2 tbsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp ground dried ginger
dash of curry
dash of dried basil
1/4 tsp salt
pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 400!. Prepare three shallow bowls, one for flour, one for eggs, one for breading mixture!. Add about 1/2 cup flour to first dish!. Lightly beat the 2 eggs in 2nd dish!. Mix all the dried ingredients together in 3rd dish!. With each strip of chicken, dip/dust lightly with flour, then dip into egg, then roll/coat with cornmeal mixture!. Set on baking sheet, and repeat until all chicken pieces have been floured, egged, and breaded (always go dry-wet-dry when breading)!. Place baking sheet in oven and bake for about 1/2 hour, flipping the strips after about 20 minutes to ensure even crispness!.
Serve with beer, because they are SPICY!

*Baked Chicken Strips

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
Salt and pepper to taste
4 tablespoons butter melted
1 to 1 1/2 cups of dried, seasoned bread crumbs

Preheat oven to 325*F (160*C)!.
Salt and pepper chicken strips and roll in the melted butter, then roll in the bread crumbs!.
Bake the chicken strips for about 10 minutes, turn strips over and cook for another 10 minutes or until they are browned and pierce easily with a fork!.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauces!.
