Do chicken breasts have to be covered in liquid in a slow cooker?!


Question: Do chicken breasts have to be covered in liquid in a slow cooker!?
i put rice, cream of chicken soup, h2o, carrots, green beans, chicken breast strips and paprika in a slow cooker!.!.!.the liquid only covered the rice and the veggies are sitting on the soup mix then the chicken is laying on top, will it come out dry or not cook!? should i add more ingredients or liquid!? how long do i cook it on low!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It will be fine,chicken will make own juice!.Cook for 6 to 8 hours on low!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would add a bit of water, but then just watch it as it cooks and add if necessary!. You don't want to drown it!. The rice will soak up a lot of the moisture!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeah add more liquid it it becomes to thin later add some cornstarch or flour!. The rice will absorb some of the liquid!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
