Answers:
They have a high content of oxalic acid, which is toxic, although you would have to eat a lot of unpleasant rhubarb leaves to die!. The stalks have a lower content of oxalic acid!. The leaves are fine to put in your compost bin, however, and can be boiled up to make an insecticide spray!. Check out:
