What goes well with grilled salmon?!
I am having some guests for dinner!. So far on the menu I have Grilled Asparagus, Grilled Salmon With Orange Glaze: http://allrecipes!.com/Recipe/Grilled-Sal!.!.!.
and Spinach-Quinoa Salad with Cherries and Almonds:
http://www!.vegetariantimes!.com/recipes/9!.!.!.
I need something bread-like to go with it (cornbread or crepes maybe!?), and maybe another side dish for good measure, as well as an appropriate dessert!. It has to be dairy-free and gluten-free (no wheat, barley, rye, or oats), although I am really good at adjusting standard recipes to meet our dietary restrictions!.
Any suggestions as to what would go nicely!? I'm kind of stumped!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Herb roasted red potatoes!. Chop them into cubes and dust them with herbs and olive oil and put them in the oven on 400 until the edges are goldenWww@FoodAQ@Com
Something bread-like, I'd do buttered biscuits, the mini ones from Pillsbury!. Grilled salmon goes really well with white rice! You can squeeze a bit of a lemon on the white rice to give it more flavor (because lemon taste well with salmon also) and eat it with the Salmon!.
Dessert!.!. it's hard to say if it has to be dairy-free and gluten free, how about Jell-o!Www@FoodAQ@Com

How about a gluten-free pasta!? We often make a spinach/orzo dish with garlic and diced tomatoes when we have salmon!. A flourless chocolate cake makes a rich, but simple, dessert!. Many recipes are available online!. It can be served with fresh-fruit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
The asparagus sounds perfect!. Maybe adding couscous or baby potatoes would make for a good dish!?
Dessert: sorbet, fresh fruits, flourless chocolate cake, creme brule, chocolate mousse!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

crispy hashbrowns, as far as dessert- rootbeer float!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I know this probably isn't terribly helpful, but the menu you've got planned already sounds incredible! I love quinoa, and I was going to suggest grilled asparagus in a lemon-butter sauce to go with the salmon to answer your question!.!.!. but you've already got it on there!
I'm not sure why, but I really like things with a cinnamon-y, brown sugar-y taste to them along with salmon!. If you have a Great Harvest Bread Company location near you, they have a great bread called Cinnamon Swirl that would fit that criteria nicely and go well with the meal!. That wouldn't be gluten-free, though!.!.!. perhaps you could look for recipes for cinnamon breads online and adapt them as you know how!? www!.allrecipes!.com is my favorite website to find new recipes, as the recipes are often great and the reviews are even better - always very helpful!. It is a great site for bread recipes in particular!.
Here is a page within that site with search results for "gluten free":

If you wanted to, you could easily incorporate cinnamon into any of those bread recipes!.!.!.
Best of luck! In any case, I wouldn't stress too much about it!. It sounds like you've got a fantastic meal planned already!Www@FoodAQ@Com
