Question: Recipe HELP!!!?
for school i need to bake a recipe with cheese milk and eggs!. It has to be made in under an hour and i need it to have all three ingredients!. It can be anything like condensed milk, evaporated milk, marscapone cheese ect!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bacon And Cheese Tart

An easy to make savoury tart with a hint of herbs


Ingredients
1 quantity Rich Short Pastry
4-6 rashers lean bacon, finely diced
1 3/4 - 2 cups finely grated Gruyere cheese
1 tbsp finely chopped fresh sage or oregano
4 eggs
1 cup cream or whole milk
salt and pepper to season

Method
1!. Roll the pastry out to line the base and sides of a 24cm loose-bottom metal flan tin!. Trim away excess pastry and press the edges firmly to a well-patterned pastry case!.
2!. Prick the base of the tart evenly all over with a fork!.
3!. Line with baking paper and fill the centre with an even layer of baking blind material (ceramic beans/ dried pulses)!.
4!. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 12 minutes or until the edge is beginning to colour!. Remove the baking blind material and paper and return the pastry shell to the oven for a further 5-7 minutes or until the pastry is cooked!.
5!. Scatter over the bacon, cheese and herbs!.
6!. Beat the eggs and cream together and season well with salt and pepper!. Pour carefully over the cheese and bacon!.
7!. Bake at 190 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes or until the filling is set and golden!.

Onion And Olive Scones (Serves: 8)

Thank goodness there's a revival of the modest scone with its endless variations!. This savoury recipe, made lighter with the addition of yoghurt, is ideal served warm and filled with leftovers from Christmas Day!.


Ingredients
3 cups flour
6 tsp baking powder
50 grams butter
2-3 spring onions, trimmed and chopped
? cup well packed chopped olives
? cup grated parmesan or cheddar cheese
1 cup milk
? cup plain unsweetened yoghurt
1 egg, beaten

Method
1!. Sift the flour and baking powder together into a bowl and rub the butter well so that no coarse pieces remain!. Stir in the spring onion, olives and cheese and make a well in the centre!.
2!. With a fork, beat together the milk, yoghurt and egg and pour into the well!. Stir with a knife to form a soft dough!. Turn out onto a floured board and bring together gently!. Press out to a 20-22cm round and transfer to a floured baking tray!.
3!. Brush the dough with milk or beaten egg to glaze!. Mark the dough into 8 wedges but do not cut all the way through the dough!.
4!. Bake at 230oC for 15-20 minutes or until the scone dough is cooked in the centre!.
5!. To serve, cut into wedges, slice each in half horizontally

Cheese And Dill Muffin Topping

Savoury muffins to tempt the taste buds!.


Ingredients
1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
1/2 tsp each salt, paprika and pepper
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tblsp chopped fresh dill
50 grams butter, melted
1 egg
1 cup milk

Method
1!. Sift the flour and spices into a bowl!. Mix in the cheese and dill and make a well in the centre!.
2!. Mix the butter, egg and milk together and pour into the well and fold togetherWww@FoodAQ@Com

Breakfast Casserole

Put it together the night before, and pop it in the oven the next morning!.

6 large eggs

2 cups milk

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

4 slices white bread or your favorite bread, toasted and cut into cubes

1 pound pork sausage, crumbled and browned or you could use 1 pound bacon!.!.!.!.!.!.!.or 1/2 pound pork sausage and 1/2 pound bacon (The meats may be omitted-------just add a few more eggs!.)

1-1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese or your favorite cheese

In a large bowl, beat the eggs until frothy!. Beat in the milk, salt and pepper!.

Place the bread cubes in a buttered, 9x13-inch dish!. Layer the browned sausage/bacon over the bread, and sprinkle the cheese evenly over the sausage!. Pour the egg mixture over the top, and refrigerate overnight!.

The next morning, bake in a 350°F preheated oven for 45 minutes!. Let stand about 5 minutes before cutting!. Makes 6 servings!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
