It sounds like you need to throw it out! I wouldn't eat it!. For future reference, you can cut the mould off the cheese and it will be fine!. I still wouldn't do it but my husbands a chef and he told me you can even though he doesn't do it either!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I cut the mould off it and, if there's any left after that I grate it and use it in a cooked dish!.

People pay good money for Stilton and those blue vein cheeses, so I'm sure that a bit of mould on other kinds of cheese can't be bad for you!Www@FoodAQ@Com
