Broiling in oven
While broiling leave the oven door open slightly!. Broiling requires a great amount of air so leaving the oven door open slightly will cut down on splatter!. also some Broilers turn off if the oven gets too hot!.!.!.if you need constant heat from the broiler you must keep the door ajar for hot air to escapeWww@FoodAQ@Com

I always have, but I have noticed lately on TV cooking shows, they don't!. My feeling was that the heat would build up too much and cause a problem, plus there is always some smoke from grilling!. I would keep to open a crack!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I'm not a great cook but once you pre-heat your oven you'll have to check it every couple of minutes!. Make sure you turn it over when it's about half done!. Keep the door closed tho!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
