I need someone to help come up with a recipe for a birthday "cake"?!

Question: I need someone to help come up with a recipe for a birthday "cake"!?
It's really just a culmination of two things: a biscuit and a bowl of gravy!. But what makes it difficult is that I want the diameter of the biscuit to be 18"!. The problem I always ran into when making biscuits is that they are way too thin, because when I make it thicker it's doesn't cook all the way!. I think for this one I want it to be 6-8"!. From there I would place it in a fruit punch bowl full of gravy!. So that leaves me with 3 questions:

1) How would I fully cook a biscuit that large!?
2) Which ingredients would I need and how much!?
3) How much gravy would I need and where would I get a bowl that big!?

I need a complete recipe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
1) and 2)here's a recipe for a Buiscuit "Loaf" maybe the proportions of this will work for what you need

Yield: Makes 8 servingsIngredients: 1-1/2cups all-purpose flour
1/4cup grated Parmesan cheese
2tablespoons yellow cornmeal
2teaspoons baking powder
1/2teaspoon salt
1/4cup butter
2eggs
1/2cup whipping cream
3/4teaspoon dried basil
3/4teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/8teaspoon garlic powder
Additional grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Preparation: 1!.Preheat oven to 425°F!. Grease large baking sheet; set aside!.
2!.Combine flour, 1/4 cup cheese, cornmeal, baking powder and salt in large bowl!. Cut in butter with pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs!.
3!.Beat eggs in medium bowl!. Add cream, basil, oregano and garlic powder; beat until well blended!. Add cream mixture to flour mixture; stir until mixture forms soft dough that clings together and forms ball!.
4!.Turn out dough onto well-floured surface!. Knead dough gently 10 to 12 times!. Place dough on prepared baking sheet!. Roll or pat dough into 7-inch round, about 1 inch thick!. Starting from center, score top of dough into 8 wedges with tip of sharp knife!. (Do not cut completely through dough!.) Sprinkle with additional cheese, if desired!.
5!.Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean!. Cool on baking sheet on wire rack 10 minutes!. Serve warm!.

3)i would probably use a pyrex dish!.!.!. they have some designs that look like a bowl, or maybe a 9" pie plate!.!.!.!.the amount of gravy would depend on how big of a bowl you find!.!.!.if its suposed to float in the gravy i say at least 4-6 cups!. try a party supply store or bed bath and beyond for a punch bowl!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Maybe it would be better to make several wide, thin biscuts and stack them!. OR look for a shortcake recipe that bakes in an 8" round pan and just cut out the sugar!.

I can't help with the gravy question, unfortunately!. I'm not into gravy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
