I'm confused but I am going to try and help you!. If you mean Grilled Cheese that is a piece of bread, cheese and then a piece of bread in a pan on medium heat you add a little butter and a little oil, put you bread, cheese bread combo in the pan, brown on each side until the cheese it melted!. if you are talking about an open faced sandwhich on the bottom of gas stoves you have a tray, inside that tray you can make toast or cheese toast!. You put the cheese on some bread and put it in the bottom (make sure your heat is not too high), keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't burn!. Hope I helped!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My tip is to butter your bread first then put it under the grill until a little brown, turn it over and repeat on the other side but not until brown then put slices of cheese on and let it melt under the grill!. Some yummy combinations also are;
Chicken and cheese, Chicken, avocado and cheese,
Cheese and tomato, Pink salmon and cheese, Ham and cheese, Ham, cheese and tomato, Salami and cheese, Salami, cheese and tomato and my favourite, Bacon, cheese and tomato!. A sprinkle of paprika on top to finish off!. ENJOY!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I assume you mean something different than just grilled cheese sandwiches so here is my recipe:

1 loaf French bread, Italian, or other
Cut into about 5 inch slices
Baste with a bit of olive oil or butter (or both if you prefer)
Sprinkle with paprika and/or cayenne (to taste)
Add grated cheese of choice (I prefer old cheddar or Pepperjack)

Add garlic powder if you like!.!. especially for Italian dishes

Bake in oven at about 350-400 dg!. for about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted!. I figured you didn't mean grill cheese sandwich!.!. thanx :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I make a hot cheese sandwich by first toasting 2 slices of bread, then when that's done I put 2 slices of American cheese on one slice and put it into the microwave for 2 minutes or less!. Presto, you have a cheese sandwich!. You can add tomato and bacon if you like!. If the sandwich cools off you can add lettuce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Toast the bread and then you butter the bread and put the cheese inbetween the two slices!. or

Put the bread in the oven with a little butter on it, and when it is how you like it, just add the cheese and let it melt, you will lick your fingers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

toast one side of the bread under a hot grill first, then on the other side either use just cheese and grill until golden brown!. You could also add other ingredients like ham, sliced onions, sliced peppers, tomatoes then top which grated cheese!. And marmite or worchester sauce is good too!.
