Nobody really can't cook, it just takes a little confidence and some practice!. It doesn't matter if things don't go exactly as planned, you'll learn next time!. Start small with an omelette and perhaps some grated cheese and chopped pepper in the mix!. You can then go onto a simple pasta sauce!. make the pasta as per the packet and put on top a stir-in sauce either from the chilled section in the supermarket or those dolmio ones!. You could add some chopped up sausage or pepperoni heated up with it for some meat!. Baked potatoes are good for a cheap meal!. You can do them in the oven for an hour and a half or in the microwave in about 10 minutes!. You can put anything in them such as a tin of chilli heated up, some tuna and mayo mixed together, some grated cheese, baked beans etc!. If you usually get take-away just buy a pre-done packet of stir fry veg and add some chooked chicken from the chilled cabinet and fry it in a little oil and add some soy sauce and some ready-to-wok noodles for a better for you cheaper alternative to chinese!. Sausages are easy to make into casserole!. Brown the sausages, put them in a casserole dish with some mushrooms, pepper and a sliced onion!. Use one of those Colmans mixes for sausage casserole and half a pint of water and an hour later you have a tasty meal to have with rice!. Rice is dead simple!. Boil the kettle and put in some rice and a dash of salt into a pan!. Bring the rice to the boil and simmer for 10 mins, stirring occasionally!. Once it's ready (test some first) pour it into a sieve and pour over some more boiled water to get rid of the starch!. Cous Cous is even easier!. Just boil some water, pour some over the cous cous according to the packet and leave it for 5 mins then fork through and serve - how quick is that! You can put cous cous into half a pepper and cover with cheddar cheese and put it in the oven for a tasty meal!. Warm chicken salad is also easy!. Buy some of those pre-breaded chicken things from Iceland or somewhere and cook them in the oven for half an hour!. Meanwhile chop up some lettuce, cucumber, pepper, onion and tomato!. Slice up the cooked chicken and put it on top and cover with dressing!. To save money on dressing simply mix equal parts of vinegar (any kind, I like Balsamic or white wine) with olive oil and mix it well and slosh over the salad!. You can also add a teaspoon of wholegrain mustard to it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
