Stuffed Bell Peppers: what do you use as a filler,Cracker crumbs, bread crumbs, rice?!
Answers:
When I make them, (I use the same ingredients for stuffed peppers that I do with Cabbage Rolls) and I like to use a seasoned pre-cooked rice pilaf type deal (think: homemade Rice-a Roni)!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Depends on which way I want my Peppers/Cabbage Rolls to take on: Italian, Eastern European, Mexican, etc!.!.!.!.!.then I decide on the seasonings to use in them to make it "that" flavor!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Since these are basically "self contained mini meatloves that steam in vegetable casings" ( as one of my mentors at Cordon Bleu used to call them), you can literally go in any direction with them!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Enjoy!!!
