Answers:
Fill a large stockpot halfway with unsalted water and bring to a rolling boil!.
Add corn on the cob to the boiling water!.
Let water return to a boil!.
Cover pot and immediately turn off heat!.
Let covered pot sit undisturbed on the burner for 10 minutes!.
Remove corn and serve hot with your choice of butter, margarine, salt, and/or other seasoning!.
Tips:
Be sure the corn is fresh!. Leaves should be green and pliable!. The silk should be dry, not soggy!.
Avoid buying corn with husks removed!. It's probably old!. The husk keeps it fresher!.
Cook fresh corn within 24 hours of purchase!.
Overcooking toughens corn!.
Do not salt the water!. Salt will toughen the corn!. Sugar may be added at 1 tsp per quart of water, but it shouldn't be necessary!.
What You Need:
Large stockpot with lid
Fresh corn on the cob, shucked
Butter, margarine, or condiments of choice HOPE O HELPED :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

use a soft brush to get all of the "silk" off!. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add a little bit of sugar!. Add the corn and boil for 7-8 minutes!. serve with butter, salt and pepper!. I like to puree a few roasted red pepper strips in a food processor and mix with butter!. Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

First, get a pot of water and put it on the stove on high heat and wait for it to boil!. While you are waiting, take the cobs and peel off the green and silk, remove the stalk and snap the cob in half!. After the water comes to a boil, put the cobs in and let them cook!. You know when they are done when the curnels are soft!. It takes about 20 minutes at most!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Start a pot of water to boil, and add salt!. While you are waiting for the water to boil, shuck the corn and rise off!.
When the water boils, add the ears of corn and cook with the lid on (or off if you don't have a lid) for about 5 minutes!. Drain and serve with butter, salt & pepper!.

PS-If you boil the corn for too long, it gets tough!. You should NEVER boil corn for 30 minutes! 5-6 minutes is plenty done, I promise you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
