i am attempting a fettucini with tomato sauce!. any ideas with a slightly thin creamy tomato sauce!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pasta in Vodka Sauce


1!. 1 onion, chopped
2!. 2 stalks celery, chopped
3!. 3 cloves garlic, minced
4!. 1/4 cup olive oil
5!. 1/4 pound thinly sliced prosciutto
6!. 3/4 cup vodka
7!. 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
8!. 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
9!. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
10!. 1 tablespoon dried basil
11!. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
12!. 1 cup half-and-half cream
13!. 1 pound of pasta


1!. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat!. Cook onion, celery, and garlic in oil; stir until soft!. Add prosciutto and vodka!. Simmer until almost all liquid is gone!.
2!. Add tomatoes, cayenne, and herbs!. Simmer for 10 minutes!.
3!. Stir in half and half, and heat for 3 minutes!.
4!. Meanwhile, cook pasta in boiling salted water until done!. Drain!. Serve sauce over noodles!.

Fettuccine with Indian Tomato Sauce

1 lb Fettucine
1 c Chopped onion
1/2 c Finely chopped carrot
2 ts Crushed garlic
2 ts Minced ginger
1 tb Curry

Saute onion, carrot, garlic and ginger in water or broth etc!. for about 5
minutes!. Add 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes and 1 T of curry and simmer
about 20 minutes more!. Serve over the fettucine and sprinkle with 1/2 cup

well, don't usually like to give out my secret, but!.!.!.!.!.!.use regular tomato sauce from a can and lots of garlic and olive oil and a bit of butter and half an onion and dried italian herbs!.!.!.then when it is all cooked and simmered turn down the heat and add just a bit of heavy whipping cream to make creamy!.!.!.!.forget store bought sauces, they have way too much sugar added to them!. of course, you can alway add or change any recipe to become your own!.!.!.!.mushrooms, sausage, etc!.!.!.!.have fun and bonnepetit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
