okay we are making meatloaf for dinner!.!.
hes the recipe
2 lbs ground round
1 cup bread crumbs or crushed saltine crackers
2 eggs
1 cup Parmesan cheese
1 small onion diced
1 clove garlic crushed
1 pkg meatloaf seasoning mix
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 small can tomato sauce
we dont have tomato sauce so we want to use ketchup does anyone know how much we should use or is it will taste the same!!?

3/4 kg Lean minced beef

1 1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
1/2 c Chopped onions
1/2 ts Oregano

I would use what ever is equal to the 1 small can of tomato sauce, I'm guessing that is about 6oz since I don't have a can here!.!. It should be close to the same taste, because you have a lot of seasoning in it anyway!.

If the tomato sauce is for the top just leave it off and add ketchup when you're done!. If it goes inside the loaf then put a half cup and if you need more tomato taste at the end just add it on the plate!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
i use ketchup in place of sauce at times, use about 1/2 a cup, don't put it on the top, the sugar in it will cause it to burn, but perfectly fine for flavoring and moisture!. enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It will taste different but alright!. About 3/4 of a cup would be enough!. I would question the cup of parmesan cheese, it seems like too much, half that amount would work!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
