I make these either with just strawberries or with strawberries and raspberries
Berries With Cointreau and Whipped Cream
* 1 pint strawberries, hulled, washed, and halved
* 1 to 2 cups fresh blueberries
* 2 to 3 tablespoons Cointreau or orange juice
* 1 tablespoon lemon juice
* 1 teaspoon lemon or orange zest
* 1/4 cup granulated sugar
* 1 cup heavy whipping cream
* 3 tablespoons powdered sugar, sifted
Put strawberries and blueberries into a bowl!. In a cup, combine sugar and Cointreau; add lemon juice, orange or lemon zest, and sugar!. Pour over berries and toss gently to coat!. Cover bowl and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours!.
Whip cream until soft peaks form; add powdered sugar and continue whipping until stiff!.
I also love a mix of crushed meringues strawberries and cream with a bit of chocolate sauce
or chopped up chocolate brownie mixed in layers with strawberries and creamWww@FoodAQ@Com

Awesome restaurant style strawberry topping!. Serve cold over cheesecake or ice cream

Cut about 1/3 of the strawberries in half!. In a saucepan over medium high heat, combine strawberries, sugar and vanilla!. Cook, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes!. 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate chips)
2 tablespoons corn syrup
6 tablespoons butter
Directions:
1- Wash strawberries and pat dry!.
2- Place on paper towels until they reach room temperature!.
3- Melt chocolate chips, corn syrup and butter in a double boiler, stirring occasionally!.
4- Remove from heat and dip each strawberry into chocolate, coating 2/3 of strawberry!.
5- Allow excess chocolate to drip off into pan!.
6- Place stem side down on waxed paper covered baking pan or cookie sheet!.
7- Refrigerate until set, about 15-20 minutes!.

30 medium strawberry
1/4 new york cheesecake (I used #57025)
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons corn syrup
6 tablespoons butter (3/4 stick)

1- Wash strawberries and pat dry!. Place on paper towels until they reach room temperature!.
2- Mash cheesecake with a mixer until the graham cracker crust in mixed throughout!. Cheesecake mixture should be soft and workable, like a cookie dough!.
3- With your fingers, pick up a small ball of cheesecake and press against the strawberry, leaving the stem and leaves visible!. Bottom 1/2 to 2/3 of the strawberry should be covered with the cheesecake!. Set aside on waxed paper!. May need to be chilled until ready to dip!.
4- Melt chocolate chips, corn syrup and butter in a double boiler, stirring occasionally!.
5- Remove from heat and dip each cheesecake-covered strawberry into chocolate, coating ? of strawberry!.

Balsamic vinegar!. Drizzle the vinegar over strawberries and sprinkle with sugar!. Stir gently to combine!. Cover, and let sit at room temperature for at least 1 hour but not more than 4 hours!. Just before serving, grind black pepper over berries!. Serve with Vanilla ice cream!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I agree with the brandy! I am surprised others know about it! My mum used to soak the strawberries for a couple of hours in sweet sherry and sugar!. Serve it with cream or ice cream and you can't get any better than that!. Mmmmmmmmm!.!.!. Actually - put it in a crepe/pancake and it would be even better!Www@FoodAQ@Com
