Pizza toppings?!

If I remove the topping from my pizza will it be any healthier!? I mainly only like the bread and sauce!. Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It depends on the bread you are using and the sauce!. Removing all pizza toppings does not make it "healthier!." It's how much of the pizza you are eating and what kind of calories are in the dough and the sauce!. If you are looking for a healthier take on pizza, try vegetables and some kind of low fat cheese!. This should make the pizza more balanced when trying to get in those food groups that are so hard to maintain!. also, you can go for a few less slices and have a small side salad!. That should make things healthier :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

It will definitely be healthier if you remove the cheese, plus any fatty meats that might be on it, since you'll be removing the main source of fat and also a major source of calories!. In fact, if you just like the crust and sauce, and maybe some toppings, most pizza places offer "cheeseless" pizza!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you remove the cheese then it would be quite healthy, but why would you!? Wouldn't it be better to just have a tomato sandwich, or a piece of fruit and a salad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes it will be healthier!. It is the cheese and greasy meat that makes it un healthy!. it would be more healthy to have it with some vegtables also, but this way is still healthier than with ALL the toppingsWww@FoodAQ@Com

half the calories!.!.!.half the flavorWww@FoodAQ@Com

no not healthy unless it is healthy style breadWww@FoodAQ@Com

not really if thats all you like eat bread and sauce cheaper than pizzaWww@FoodAQ@Com

why would u!. do not care how other people look at uWww@FoodAQ@Com
