How to fix salty salad?!

Question: How to fix salty salad!?
I was making tabouli by my grandma's recipe tonight for a dinner party tomorrow and the recipe she wrote says < 1 Tablespoon of salt so I put in like 3/4 tablespoon of salt which ended up being waaaaaaaaay too much!.

How can I fix this!? I was thinking I would add like 4-6 tomatoes tomorrow instead of the 2 it calls for and maybe that would help!. Does anyone have any other suggestions!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A trick I learned years ago is add some lemon juice to cut the salt, but tabouli is usually made with some lemon juice!. Definitely add more tomatoes, or make some more of the bulgar wheat to add to it!. Did you add scallions to it!? Add more!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've found that by adding some slices of sweet orange quarters with out the pips can help disguise the salty taste!. also adding a few diced up nuts can help!. But if all else comes to fail, the safest way would be to just make it again!. But first try adding the oranges and nuts (preferably finely shopped Cashews nuts)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mmmm, I just cant resist the mouth watering taste of Lebanese tabouli!!!

Mmmm!.

Perhaps if you diluted the salt solution with water!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Toss the salad into a collander and rinse it under running water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think that would help a lot!. Adding more of all of the other ingredients will dilute the salt naturally!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Stick a potato in it for a while!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You add some more cracked wheat!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
