Softer Cookies?!

Question: Softer Cookies!?
I am thinking about making some cookies but I want them to be soft and moist instead of dry and crispy!.
Can anyone tell me how to achieve this!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Don't overbake them!.
Use bread flour instead of all-purpose flour - keeps cookies moist
Use melted butter instead of softened butter
Finally, use one whole egg and one egg yolk + 2 tbsp milk instead of just two whole eggs!. This is because the egg white dries out the batter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Alton Brown from the Food Network has a recipie (link below) for "The Chewy"!. It calls for bread flour instead of regular flour!. It will keep them moister!. The recipie also switches out white sugar for dark brown sugar!. Honestly, I have sent these overseas to people in the military and they are soft when they get there and for days after!. You can also make these changes in any cookie recipie, not just the chocolate chip one below!. Good eats!

lower heat !. and dont over bake them!. even after you pull the cookies out they continue to cook from excess heat!. baking is more like a chemical reaction!. this is why people usually dry cookies!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Some cookies are meant to be crispy, like ginger snaps and such!. It depends on what kind you are making!. If its chocolate chip, bake them 2 minutes less!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try a recipe with less sugar and more butter!. also under cook them a little, this will keep them soft!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

cook them 5 minutes less than the normal recipe time!.!. eat them straight away because wen u leave them out to kool it will go hard!.
Good luckWww@FoodAQ@Com

dont cook them for as long and put more butter inWww@FoodAQ@Com
