Scald the tomatoes, peel them, you can remove the seeds if you want but we never did!. Fill the jars completely, leave 1/2-3/4 inch headspace at the top!. Cover with lids and screw tops and process in a hot water bath, I believe it's for 20-30 minutes!. To be completely safe, check a website, such as Ball's, to find out the exact processing times needed for the size jars you are using!. It's better to be safe than sorry, and you wouldn't want to waste any of those beautiful tomatoes!. We also sprinkled a teaspoon of salt over the top of the tomatoes before putting the lids on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
