My German Chocolate cake says to line pan with Butter Paper...What is Butter Paper?!
It says to butter the bottom of the pan, then line with wax paper, then line with butter paper!. What is Butter Paper!? And is it essential to have it for the cake to turn out alright!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you don't have any greaseproof paper, then you can grease the pan (all over) with butter and then tip some flour in and toss it around so that is evenly coated!. That will stop your cake from sticking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
that's pretty strange to have all those layers of greased papers !.!.!.!. I'd leave out the "butter paper" (whatever that is)!.!.!.!. in fact, just greasing the pan and using parchment paper should be fine!. Wax paper can sometimes melt in the oven!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
