1 lb seasoned beef cooked with diced onions, garlic, and cummin!. Salt and pepper to taste!. Mix in a small can of refried beans while the taco meat is still hot!. Add one can of diced chilis (the smallest can you find in the store)!. spread over a store bought crust, sprinkled with 1/2 c shredded cheddar and baked until cheese is melted!. Add chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and more cheese when the pizza is done baking!. Do not add the sour cream and salsa to the pizza, let folks do that themselves, it makes the crust soggy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love Mexican/taco pizza! I do mine on fresh pizza dough though some use a large tortilla!. Prepare ground beef with taco seasoning(I like to add a little extra cumin)!. Spread a jar of taco sauce on the dough as you would pizza sauce!. Sprinkle about 1/2 the meat (save or freeze the other 1/2 for a later one or another use) on top!. Top that with about 4oz!. cheddar and 4 oz!. Monterrey jack or pepper jack (using cheddar alone makes it kind of oily)!. Add some jalapenos if you like it hot and maybe some sliced black olives and bake!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!. They are on all the pizza menues around here!. Everyone else had good suggestions as to what toppings and how to make it!. I just have one suggestion and that's to crumble some tortilla chips and put them on during the last couple of minutes of baking- it gives the pizza nice texture and flavorWww@FoodAQ@Com

yes!. happy joes in iowa claims to be the home of the taco pizza and since i grew up in iowa, i grew up with taco pizza!. i'm in sc now!. they could have taco pizza, but i havent' ordered a pizza in about 3 years!. i have made it before and like to use sour cream (after it's been cooked) and then add doritoes to the top!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I LOVE taco pizza! Happy Joe's had the best, but Pizza Ranch was a close second!. And now I can't find it in California! The "Mexican" pizzas are NOT the same as a taco pizza!Www@FoodAQ@Com
