Gosh, before I decided to become a professional chef, I think my Mom getting me the Easy Bake oven was the start!. But I grew up with my dad and cooking as a kid was all about using quality ingredients and being creative, so I guess that was my first inspiration!. After that, in my previous career I would be at conventions/conferences where they served you a 5 course fancy lunch and I got the bug and am inspired wherever I go!.
As for famous TV chefs, well I look for ideas everywhere and there are brilliantly talented chefs who don't have their own TV shows, but I love Jamie Oliver, Jacques Pepin, Bobby Flay, and because cake decorating/pastry is my specialty, I am a sucker for a whole slough of famous decorators/pastry chefs!. I also love watching /following the Culinary Olympics and other events!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
