How much is a "twig" of thyme?!


Question: How much is a "twig" of thyme!?
A recipe has called for four "twigs" of thyme!. I couldn't find any twigs in any store though!. So I bought a small bottle of thyme spice!. So how much will I need!? Does anyone know!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Oh God no!. Start with a half teaspoon!. Dried herbs can be much more pungent than fresh!. You can always add more if it tastes too bland!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if you don't have the plant stem, then about a 3 teaspoons will do!. if it is ground thyme, 4Www@FoodAQ@Com

fresh thyme is in the form of leaves on a atem, this stem is a twig!. you'll find it in the produce sectionWww@FoodAQ@Com
