How much would one "twig" of thyme be?!


Question: How much would one "twig" of thyme be!?
I need it for a recipe!. But the store did not have twigs!. So I had to buy thyme spice in a bottle!. So how much would one twig be equal to!? Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Didn't I just answer this question a few minutes ago!? Start with half a teaspoon!. Let it cook for a few minutes!. If it tastes like it needs more, add another half-teaspoon!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

one twig of fresh thyme equals about 2 teaspoons so, if you use dried use about 1 teaspoon since dried has a stronger, concentrated flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

depends upon how much you like thyme!.!.!.

I'd start out with a 1 or 2 teaspoons of the dried thyme - I like thyme!.
