Question: How can you make carrot and broccoli and cauliflower mash more interesting!?
Answers:
Add some interesting seasonings!.

Like it spicey!? Add some cajun spices!.

Melt some cheese into it!.

If you like Italian, add Italian spices into it and maybe drench it in Italian dressing!.

If you like it light and fluffy, butter it up!.

I'm not sure how it would taste, but if you like Asian, add some Asian sauces and spices!.

Get creative with it, and don't be afraid to experiment!.

My favorite is the cheese, btw!. You can experiment with all kinds of cheeses!. I think sharp cheddar would give it the best kick!

Add to your mash, 1 heaped teaspoon of a good quality Djon or wholegrain mustard, with 2 tablespoons of double cream, and beat with a fork until smooth and creamy,add salt and pepper to taste, or try this recipe sweet potatoe and parsnip mash, with double cream and wholegrain mustard!.

Roast them!. Cut up your veggies, toss in olive oil, sprinkle with salt, arrange in a single layer on a jelly roll pan coated with cooking spray (or foil-lined)!. Roast in 400 degree oven, turning halfway through, till cooked through!. Sprinkle with lemon juice & freshly-grated Parmesan!.

Dip them in tempura batter & fry them up like so:!.

Here's a comfort-casserole dish I like!.

Swiss Vegetable Medley
2 16-ounce packages loose-pack frozen broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots, thawed
2 10-3/4-ounce cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 cups (8 oz!.) shredded Swiss cheese
2/3 cup dairy sour cream
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 2!.8-ounce cans French-fried onions

In a large bowl combine the thawed vegetables, soup, half of the Swiss cheese, the sour cream, and pepper!. Stir in half of the French-fried onions!. Spoon vegetable mixture into a 3-quart rectangular baking dish!.

Bake, covered, in a 350 degree F oven for 30 minutes!. Uncover and sprinkle with the remaining cheese and remaining French-fried onions!. Bake about 5 minutes more or until heated through!. Makes 12 servings!.

hi from dan!.!.!.chop up some onion finely, jently fry till it is soft!.!. mix this in with your mash!.!.!. now put this into an oven proof dish!.!. now grate some chedder cheese and sprinkle over the top cook in the middle of the oven till the cheese has melted and is a nice crisp golden brown!.!.!. enjoy!.!. from dan the chef!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
