I have to peel and cut some potatoes for a recipe that I will make in the morning!. I want to do it tonight!. How do I store the potatoes to keep them fresh!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Peel, cut up, and store cubes completely submerged in water in the fridge!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cook the potatoes!. but do not peel until the morning!. Boil whole, in skin, for 20 minutes, drain and put in a bowl and cover with saran wrap and refrigerate- In the am, peel and cube and use for your recipe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Store refrigerated completely covered in water that has either a little lemon juice or white vinegar added to it [the technical term is acidulated water]
The acid prevents the potatoes from turning brownWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yep! peel, cut up and submerge in water in frig and they'll be fine! I do it sometimes and it works great!Www@FoodAQ@Com

SQUEEZE SOME LEMON JUICE ON THEM AND PUT THEM IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
