Question: Can someone give me a good recipe for Rice Crispy Treats that uses no marshmallows or peanut butter!?
And hopefully I won't have to bake it either!.!.!.

If the reason for excluding marshmallows is because of their ingredients, then use vegan marshmallows!. Peanut butter is not normally in Rice Crispies, anyway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is a recipe for Scotch-A-Roos!. They have p'butter but try using choc chips, or some carmel chips, almond butter etc!.!.!.

1 c!. light corn syrup
1 c!. sugar
1 c!. creamy peanut butter
6 c!. Rice Krispie cereal
1 (6 oz!.) pkg!. semi sweet chocolate pieces
1 (6 oz!.) pkg!. butterscotch pieces

Stir syrup and sugar over heat and bring to a full boil!. Remove from heat; add peanut butter and mix well!. Add cereal and stir until well coated!. Turn into a buttered 11 x 13 inch pan!. Spread evenly and cool!. Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in double boiler until smooth!. Pour over Rice Krispie mix and cool for 30 minutes cut in squares!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

make a sugar syrup 2 cups sugar, 1 cup water, 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar, pinch of salt!. Boil this til it comes to hard ball stage!. Stir in 2 tablespoons butter and 1 teaspoon of vanilla or other extract!. Pour over rice crispies like you would popcorn balls!. and buttering hands shape into balls or pat into pan or into a shape!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
