How to make salmon fillet tasty?!
my local ran out of smoked salmon so i've got plain salmon for tea, but how can i make it more tasty!? and what goes nice with salmon thats healthy!.!.thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

you could poach your salmon then flake it!. !.!. add chopped dill, onion, parsley, lemon juice salt and pepper and a drizzle of olive oil!. !. !. and you could top that on crackers or toasted bread!. !. !. good for cocktails too!. !. !. if you want to add color, you could put some chopped red and yellow capsicum with the mixture!. !. !. healthy and yummy !. !. !.
or you could cure your fillet (with skin) with salt ,sugar, lemon and orange zest plus the juice too and chopped dill and add half to one cup of gin!. !. !. this mixture should be enough to cover your fillet!. !. !. ratio of salt and sugar is one is to one!. !. !. cover fillet with mixture put it in the fridge!. !. !. turn fillet around once a day for 3-4 days!. !. !. then its cured!. !. !. all you have to do is rinse the fillet with water and you could slice the salmon flesh thinly like smoked salmon ready for sanwiches etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here is a recipe I use for plain salmon fillets:
Orange Crumb Salmon:
1 oz fresh breadcrumbs
2 tsp olive oil
finely grated zest
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Mix the ingredients together, and press the crumb mix onto the salmon fillet!. Cook in a preheated oven (200 degrees C) for 15-20 mins!.

Cut the fliet into 1 inch slices across the filet and roast in the oven at 400f with the following glaze!.
1 clove chopped garlic
1/2 inch grated fresh ginger
1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup)
1/4 cup water
pinch salt
dash of soy sauce
heat the above in a pan under medium heat for about 5-10 minutes (just enough to infuse the honey), Strain out the solids!.
Brush on the salmon and roast at 400f for about 20 minutes (salmon should start to brown)
The small pieces give more glaze surface area and are good sized pieces for serving!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I cook mine in a hot skillet!. Put your salmon in a plate and season with salt and some Mrs Dash Lemon pepper, slash on some olive oil!. Then place in skillet and cook for 3 min!. on each side!.Cook some rice!. When the salmon is ready take it out and turn the burner on medium, then put some of your favorite veggies in the skillet and saute!. Then put your rice in with the veggies and stir around some!. This will get all of the goodies off the bottom of the pan!. Place in the center of your plate and put your salmon on top, then sever!.
