How do you like to make your spaghetti?!
Answers:
If I make homemade sauce, I sauté onion and garlic in some olive oil in a stockpot or dutch oven!. Then I add :
tomato puree,
crushed tomatoes,
tomato paste
a bay leaf
salt pepper
oregano
basil
a pinch of sugar to cut the acidity of the tomatoes!.
sometimes if I want to change it up a bit, I also sauté green pepper and mushrooms and add those to the sauce as well!.
I simmer very low for about an hour !. !. Then if I'm going all out, I mix up my meat for meatballs -- won't get into too much detail--but I add Progresso Italian bread crumbs to the ground chuck, a little milk, an egg, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper,
basil , parsley, onion powder, garlic powder!. Mix well --shape into good size meatballs ( not those tiny ones some places serve) and then brown in fry pan!. Blot with paper towel and set aside !.
Add to the sauce a couple of browned country pork ribs, and some browned sweet Italian sausage ( links)!. cook in sauce for about one hour!.
Then add meatballs previously browned!.
Cook all for another 1/2 hour!.
*Note: if you are tired or pressed for time -- a good jarred sauce( rather than homemade) is Paul Newman's!.--many kinds to pick from and I find it thicker than most and very homemade tasting!. **
Boil your spaghetti as per directions on box adding some salt and a bit of olive oil to the water!.
When done --drain and place in bowl!. Add sauce with some of the meats on top !. Sprinkle with Parmesan or Romano cheese!.

1 lrg bell pepper chopped

1/2 c grated 2% parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp black pepper
8 c whole wheat spaghetti

Al dente spaghetti!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.i fry mince, & onion !.!.till its real brown, i toss in everything in the fridge just about, sliced up vegies that you can fry, (carrots,brococcli,capsacicin,cauliflowe!.!.!. choy or pak choy heaps of tomatoes ,some garlic!.!.!.!.!.!.just fry it all together & sometimes i dish it up like that!.!.!.!.!.with grated cheese on top!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
other times i use all them ingredients (brown mince & onion of course )& cover with water till all is cooked!.!.!. takes about an hour, as i let it simmer sort of!.!.!.!.then i thicken it with some corn flour in water & mix into the mince!.so its like a gravey mixture so it will run through the spaghetti!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.but i use different types of spices & hot sauces to get a nice flavour for spaghetti!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.just keep experimenting with the flavour & taste test!.!.!. of coarse you need salt & pepper etc too lol

I buy whole wheat spaghetti noodles, boil them, brown some hamburger meat, add some canned Del Monte chicnky veggie sauce to the meat and the spread the sauce/meat mix over my done noodles!. Then I make garlic bread and sometimes have a salad with it!. Dang now I am hungry for spaghetti!.!.!.lolWww@FoodAQ@Com
I start with the sauce and take some peperoni and render it and then remove the piecies, I then saute mushrooms, peppers, plum tomatoes, greek olives, and garlic and then add some thick tomato sauce and a some red wine towards the end of the simmer and then of course top with parm cheeseWww@FoodAQ@Com
Spaghetti fritatta is my favourite!.!.!.it's a sauce of eggs, cream, asparagus, green onions, garlic and olive oil scrambled into loose soft curds and tossed with the spaghetti then sprinkled with fresh black pepper and parmesan or toasted bread crumbs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
