Mussels Mouliniere (sp!?)
Mussels are the easiest seafood to cook!.Cook diced onions, garlic and white wine in a big pot until the onions are soft and translucent!. Add a little water and some saffron threads, NO SALT , some white pepper (not too much white pepper)!. When you think its ready, bring it rapidly to the boil and throw the cleaned mussels in!. (you need to remove the "beard" by pulling it out) Put the lid on immediately!. Leave it like that for 5 min with the lid closed!. Open it up and see how many have opened!. You need to cook it until most of them have opened, and discard the ones that havent!. Taste the sauce!. The liquid inside the mussels should be very salty but if its not salty enough add more!. Keep boiling and drizzle some cream over the mussels and stir!. Serve in a big bowl with crusty bread on the side!Www@FoodAQ@Com
