Salmon Help!?!

Question: Salmon Help!!?
I always buy the frozen ready to cook salmon filets!. They're not seasoned though!. I never know how to season it really good like they do in stores!. I try everything like lemon, onion, garlic, S&P!. Nothing makes it taste good!. Any ideas!?

And how can I do it to make it crispy on the outside but still nicely cooked on the inside!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
The best way to accomplish what you are doing is to high heat roast the salmon and use a glaze!.

Cook at about 400f for about 20 minutes if you are cooking a filet and about 30 minutes for a steak!.

Make a glaze with 1/4 cup honey, 1 tbs grated ginger, 1 tbs grated garlic, shake of hot pepper flakes, 1 tsp soy sauce and 1/4 cup water!. Heat the glaze for about 5 - 10 minutes until the water is reduced and the glaze is thicker!. The water just prevents the glaze from burning before the flavors infuse the honey!. I usually strain out the solids before I brush on the salmon!.

It will be crisp and nicely browned on the outside and juicy on the inside!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My first suggestion would be to try fresh instead of frozen!. If nothing you try makes the frozen taste good, why keep buying it!? That being said, if you insist on frozen, try Shake and Bake!. No one says you have to put it on chicken or pork!. They have one for fish now, too!. Bon appetit!Www@FoodAQ@Com
