Recipe conversions?!


Question: Recipe conversions!?
Ok I'm substituting cream of tartar with vinegar (which 3 teaspoons of vinegar = 1 teaspoon of cream of tartar) now my recipe calls for 1/4 teaspoon but I'm cutting the recipe in half!. I'm having a major brain fart and cant figure out how much vinegar to put in!. Please help!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
