Answers:
To be honest, chili is healthy already!. You have beans, tomatoes (maybe), onions, garlic, lean ground beef or turkey, spices!. Add some corn at the end, there you are!. Healthy chili!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Adding a lot of veggies will reduce the calories cup for cup!.
Using ground chicken or turkey will reduce it by even more!. (That is using poultry rather than beef not with the beef)
I use mushrooms a lot in my chili, you get the "meatiness" and almost none of the calories!.
A lot of the beans the you get that have the chili sauce with the beans--there is sugar added to the sauce so if you want to eliminate that use either dried beans that you will have to cook ahead to get them ready or use canned beans that you drain and rinse!.
All in all adding extra peppers, onions and the mushrooms chili isn't so bad it is the stuff a lot of people add!.!.sour cream, cheese, chips, or corn bread!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I know that you already have the ground beef!.!.!.but you could also think about substituting ground turkey, or you could use a meatless ground beef substitute like Morningstar's Meal Starters, which has only 2!.5g of fat (no sat!. fat), 80 calories, and 0 cholesterol!Www@FoodAQ@Com

in stead of meat use ground round a vegetarian product available in most large chain stores you will not know the diffrence and 0 fat and 0 colesterol
