What should I do with my bag of frozen blueberries?!


Question: What should I do with my bag of frozen blueberries!?
I bought a bag of frozen blueberries!. What should I do with them!? I don't really bake, so I don't have that many ingredients!. I don't want to just put them on icecream either, that's boring!.

Give me some specific recipes or ideas that I can use this bag of blueberries for!. And no, just eating them out of the bag doesn't count, I'm already doing that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Blueberry crumble!.!.!.toss well drained berries with 1 Tbsp!. corn starch or flour, 1/4 cup sugar and a drizzle of lemon juice!. Place in a buttered pie plate and top with a crumb mixture made with 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 3 Tbsp!. soft butter or margarine and a pinch of salt and cinnamin!. Bake @ 350 for about 45 mins, until topping browns slightly!. Serve at room temp with a dip of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

BLUEBERRY CREAM CHEESE DESSERT

CRUST:

1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup flour

FILLING:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
8 ounces Cool Whip

TOPPING:

4 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
1 cup sugar, divided
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup water

Combine crust ingredients; spread in a 9 x 13-inch pan and cook for 15 minutes at 350 F!. Cool!.
Cream together the cream cheese and powdered sugar!. Fold in Cool Whip!.

Spread over cooled crust!.

Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan!. Add water then 2 cups of the blueberries!. Cook over medium heat!. stirring constantly, until thickened and translucent!. Crush some of the blueberries as they cook!.

Remove from heat and add remaining sugar and blueberries!. Cool!. Spread over cream cheese filling and chill!.

Serving Size: 12





Blueberry Smoothie
1 pint fresh blueberries or 2 cups (10 ounces) frozen
blueberries, slightly thawed
1 cup pineapple, orange and strawberry juice blend or pineapple-orange juice
1 (8 ounce) container low-fat vanilla yogurt
2 teaspoons granulated sugar

In container of an electric blender, combine blueberries, juice, yogurt and sugar!. Blend until smooth, about 1 minute!. Serve immediately in tall glasses!. Garnish with blueberry skewers spiraled with thin strips of orange peel, if desired!.

Mix them into yogurt, add them into pancake mix, put them in your cereal, add them to some granola, put them in a fruit salad!. Smoothies are the best ideas though and so easy to make!. this one is super easy

1 c!. fresh squeezed orange juice
1 c!. frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries or blueberries)
1-2 lg!. bananas, frozen

Hint: Peel and slice bananas for quicker freezing and blending!.

Put the blueberries in a bowl and defrost them to room temp, or you can heat them up in a pot or the nuker!. If you want them sweet, sprinkle some sugar on them and mix it up!.

1 cup blueberries
1 or more scoops of vanilla ice cream
1 container of blueberry yogurt
ice cubes
a blender

I vote for throwing some into a saucepan with a little sugar and simmering!. Then pour the compote onto pancakes!. Way better than syrup!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

THROW THEM IN A BOWL ADD MILK -------IT WILL BE A FROZEN MASS , THEN WITH A SPOON PRY ONE OR TWO AT A TIME LOOSE AND EAT !. GREAT FROZEN TREAT !.Www@FoodAQ@Com
