Delicious Vanilla

700ml cream
700ml milk
12 yolks
300 gr sugar
1 vanilla pod

Boil milk and cream with split vanilla pod!.
Once boiled, mix sugar and yolks and temper with hot cream!.
Put back on low heat and stir constantly until slightly thickened!. Strain and cool immediately in an ice bath!.

Churn and enjoy!

For caramel ice cream, use the same recipe but use 1/2 the sugar sprinkled slowly into a hot pan, stirring as needed until caramel is a deep golden colour!. At this point, add your cream and milk to the caramel (very carefully and slowly) and continue as in Vanilla ice cream!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Add milk, sugar, and vanilla to smaller bag and seal, then place inside larger bag and zip that one closed as well!. Shake vigorously 5 minutes, or until mixture reaches ice cream consistency!. Remove smaller bag, wipe off, and enjoy!
