Cherry recipes!!?!


Question: Cherry recipes!!!?
We have 4 cherry trees and I have tons of ripe cherries!. I love to eat them fresh but there are so many! Year before I made clafouti (not a fan) last year I made a cherry pie and this year a cobbler!. also I have made brandied cherries!.
I want to make some new ideas of what to make with FRESH cherries

Cherry Crisp!.

4 cups pitted sour cherries (fresh, frozen or canned)
1 1/2 cups white sugar
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup old-fashioned oats
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
DIRECTIONS:
1!. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)!.
2!. In a large bowl, combine cherries, 1 1/2 cups white sugar, and 4 tablespoons flour!. Pour into 9x13 inch baking dish!. In a medium bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups flour, oats, and brown sugar!. Cut in butter and shortening until crumbly!. Sprinkle over cherries!.
3!. Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until topping is golden brown!.

Note: If the cherries are sweet, cut the sugar to 2/3 cup!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

BAKED CHERRIES

3 cups sweet cherries
1 1/4 cups milk
4 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoon butter, melted
1 cup flour
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 350°F!.
Wash cherries; remove stems and pits!.

Place pitted cherries in an 8 cup oven-proof dish!.

In the bowl of a food processor or blender, combine milk, eggs, sugar, salt, and melted butter!. Blend until smooth!. Add flour, blend briefly - do not overmix once flour is added!.

Pour batter into baking dish, covering cherries, and bake for 30 minutes or until top is light golden brown and center is done!.

Sift confectioners' sugar over the top and serve while still warm!.

This dessert can also be prepared using blueberries, plums, peaches, apples or other fruits that are in season!.

Tangy-Cherry-Tea-Sorbet

INGREDIENTS
4 teaspoons artificially sweetened dry ice tea mix
1 1/4 cups water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 cups frozen tart cherries

DIRECTIONS
Combine dry tea mix with water and lemon juice, stirring until completely dissolved!.
Place half of tea mixture in blender container or food processor!. Add half of frozen cherries!. Process until almost smooth!.
Repeat with remaining tea and cherries!.
Serve immediately!. Freeze any remaining sorbet!. When ready to serve frozen sorbet, place pieces of sorbet in blender or food processor; process to soften!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cherry Jello Mold - substitute 1 c!. cold coke/pepsi for the cold water !.!.!. add the fresh pitted cherries to the jello when it's slightly thickened!. !.!.!. I like black cherry jello best, but regular cherry is fine too!.!.!.!.!.

Freeze fresh, pitted cherries in freezer baggies, and use them instead of ice in smoothies!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i'm so jealous!.!.!.i love cherries and unfortunately i live in the midwest and fruit doesn't do well growing here!.!.!.we pay an arm and a leg for cherries!
