Any popsicle mold tips?!!?!
I just bought some popsicle molds from our local dollar store!. I have 3 little girls and living in az (where just today the temp was 110) I know we'll get good use out of these!.
I made a recipe using pineapple and dry kool aid (blended together and poured into the molds)!. I froze it overnight but when we went to pull the popsicles out of the mold, the sticks came right out leaving the popsicles behind!. we ended up scooping the popsicles out into bowls!.
Is there anyway to make the popsicles stick to the lids better or help them slide out of the molds easier!?
this is my first time using molds so any tips or recipes would be greatly appreciated!!
thanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Run lukewarm water over the outside of the popsicle moulds and it will come off easily!.
This is because it will melt the pops a bit so it will make it easier to slide out!.
And don't pull it out stright upwards!.!.!. twist and pull!.
And wash them and dry them well before using!.

MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY MAKING THE KOOL-AID FIRST,ACCORDING THE THE PACKAGING,THEN COOK IT ON THE STOVE TOP JUST UNTIL THE SUGAR DISSOLVES,ALLOW IT TO COOL OFF,THEN PUT IT IN THE BLENDER WITH THE PINEAPPLE,PUREE THAT,STRAIN IT,THEN POUR IT IN YOUR MOLDS,ALLOW IT TO SET FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES,THEN PUT YOUR STICKS IN AND LET IT SET OVERNIGHT,THAT SHOULD WORK JUST FINE!.IT also MIGHT HELP,WHEN YOUR READY TO TAKE THE POPSICLES OUT OF THE TRAY TO DIP THE BOTTOM OF YOUR TRAY IN SOME HOT WATER FROM YOUR SINK,THAT WILL HELP TO LOOSEN THEM UP,GOODLUCK!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
When the kids were all home (9 of them) we made a LOT of popsicles!. The easiest mold I found was small plastic cups! Pour the juice in, pull plastic wrap tightly over them and make a small slit to slide the stick in!. Place in freezer for several hours or overnight!. To unmold, run hot tap water over the outside for a few seconds, slide out, remove plastic!. Plastic icce cube trays work this way, too, for little kids!. You might try one of the candy mold release sprays, too!. Some have a taste, some don't!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
For a great tasting popsicle, try making pudding and putting that into the mold!. When you are ready to take them out, run a little hot water on the outside of the bottom of the mold!. They should slide out easy then!.
You'll have great looking pudding pops making Bill Cosby proud!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Basically keep them hygienic!?
Bacteria ie stickiness can cause food poisioning!?
If all else works well no scratches spray them with a bit of canola oil or olive oil first, and try not to use cordial or sugary water to ad flavour, experiment using something like various kinds of fruit juices!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
