Smothered Pork Chops

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
4 pork chops, 3/4-inch thick, bone-in
1/4 cup olive oil
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup buttermilk
Chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley, for garnish

Put the flour in a shallow platter and add the onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper; mix with a fork to distribute evenly!. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels to remove any moisture and then dredge them in the seasoned flour; shaking off the excess!.

Heat a large saute pan or cast iron skillet over medium heat and coat with the oil!. When the oil is nice and hot, lay the pork chops in the pan in a single layer and fry for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown!. Remove the pork chops from the pan and add a little sprinkle of seasoned flour to the pan drippings!. Mix the flour into the fat to dissolve and then pour in the chicken broth in!. Let the liquid cook down for 5 minutes to reduce and thicken slightly!. Stir in the buttermilk to make a creamy gravy and return the pork chops to the pan, covering them with the sauce!. INGREDIENTS
6 pork chops
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
2 egg, beaten
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups Italian-style seasoned bread crumbs
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 (10!.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup white wine

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!.
Rinse pork chops, pat dry, and season with garlic powder and seasoning salt to taste!. Place the beaten eggs in a small bowl!. Dredge the pork chops lightly in flour, dip in the egg, and coat liberally with bread crumbs!.
Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat!. Fry the pork chops 5 minutes per side, or until the breading appears well browned!. Transfer the chops to a 9x13 inch baking dish, and cover with foil!.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour!. While baking, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk and white wine in a medium bowl!. After the pork chops have baked for an hour, cover them with the soup mixture!. Replace foil, and bake for another 30 minutes!.

PEACHY TENDER PORK CHOPS

1 (29 oz!.) can peach halves8 pork chops, 1/2 inch thick1 env!. Shake & Bake for pork1/4 c!. packed brown sugar1/4 c!. ketchup2 tbsp!. vinegar

Drain peaches; reserve syrup!.

Moisten chops in 1/4 cup of syrup!.

Coat chops with mix; arrange in single layer on rack in ungreased, shallow baking pan!.

Bake at 425 degrees for 40 minutes!.

Place peaches in pan with chops!.

Brush with peach syrup and bake 5 to 10 minutes longer or until chops are tender (always cook pork thoroughly)!.

Meanwhile, heat together 1/2 cup peach syrup, the brown sugar, ketchup, and vinegar!.

Serve with chops and peaches!.

Makes 4 servings

yes, season them with seasoned salt, garlic powder, and black pepper!. saute them in a pan with some oil on both sides!. pour a can of cream of mushroom soup over them, a half can of water, and then stir until smooth!. add in a pinch of dried thyme, some onions, and put a lid on it and let it simmer for 20 minutes until the chops are tender!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is very simple and my whole family loves it!.

Lightly season your porchops then cook them all the way through on a frying pan!.

Heat up 1 can of Cream of Mushroom Soup and 1/4 cup of milk until it resembles a gravy consistency!.
