I don't mix or measure!. Just get a big bowl and mix ground beef with ground sausage, salt, pepper, I use onion powder and garlic powder, breadcrumbs, an egg and some Worcestershire sauce and ketchup!. Mix it well with your hands, I form mine into a loaf but bake it in a cake pan (easier to drain off any grease)!. Bake in a 350 degree oven about 45 minutes!. The last 10 minutes or so I put some ketchup on top and maybe some shredded cheddar!.

You really can't screw it up, just use what you like!. Some dice up onion and peppers and add that!.

You can easily switch it up to western style by using BBQ sauce instead of the ketchup and add in some brown sugar!.

You can make it pizza by using pizza sauce instead of ketchup and use mozzarella cheese!. When I make it this way I flatten the raw meat mixture into a rectangle, spread pizza sauce and cheese in the middle and roll it up (I use a loaf pan to bake this time) You can add in Italian seasoning to this meat mixture as well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

First preheat oven to 350
You will need a large mixing bowl and a rectangular baking dish!.

2 pounds of hamburger
1 cup of breadcrumbs
1 pkg!. of brown gravy mix
1 half pkg!. of onion gravy mix
Small chopped white/yellow onion
2 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
2 cans/jars of brown gravy

Knead all ingredients (except for the cans of gravy!!) together in a large mixing bowl!. After mixed, shaped into a loaf and put in baking dish!. Put in preheated oven and bake for one hour (or until it is done)!. Open oven, take out meatloaf and add the gravy!. Place back in oven for fifteen minutes!.

Make some mashed potatoes or rice and a basic salad!.
I like making it with tomoto sauce, but this is my boyfriend's favorite and everyone that has tried it loves it!. You could also use the same recipe for meatballs, but instead of the cup of breadcrumps, you add 1/2 breadcrumbs and two cups of rice!. Shape into meatballs, and brown in pan!. After browning for a few minutes you place in oven under the same temperture, except you add the gravy after forty minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This was my mother's recipe - still an all time family favorite!

1 1/2 # ground beef
1/2 # ground veal
1/2 # ground pork
6 Zweibach baby teething toasts, crushed (but not powdered)
2 tbs!. milk
1 stalk celery, chopped fine
1 onion, chopped fine
2 eggs, beaten
1 tbs ground sage
1 tbs poultry seasoning
2 teas!. dry mustard
2 teas!. Worchestershire sauce
1/2 teas!. salt
1/4 teas!. pepper
Catsup - preferably Brooks Tangy Catsup

In a large bowl moisten the crumbled Zweiback with the milk!. (Optional: place onion, celery and 1 tbs!. butter in covered microwave safe dish and microwave on high for 2 minutes to soften!. Alternately, saute onion and celery in butter until softened) Add all remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly with wooden spoon or by hand!. Place mixture into a 9 x 13" inch baking pan and shape into a large oblong "hamburger" about 2 inches thick!. (Meatloaf should not touch sides of pan) Top with catsup!. Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hour!. Serve with extra catsup on the side!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mix a pound of ground beef with a diced small onion (I've done red or white onions), about a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, a raw egg and almost (not quite) a cup of bread crumbs!. Form into a loaf shape and bake about 350 for 30 minutes but you may need to adjust your time and temp!. Oh, I almost forgot, before you put the meatloaf in the oven, drizzle it with ketchup first and then bake!. This is tasty and easy, give it a try!Www@FoodAQ@Com
