Question: Cake - Im 15 - please help!?
I want to bake a cake, I am responsable in the kitchen and as I am on study leave, I want to bake something to take the stress out of me!.

I want something very simple and very tasty!.

Things that use basic house hold ingrediants!.!.!.

E!.g, flower, eggs, casting sugar!.!.!.

Answers:
A simple victoria sponge, its classic and tasty (the icing is easy too)

175g caster sugar
175g butter
3 eggs
175g self rasing flour

plus (for icing)

225g of icing sugar
100g butter
vanilla essence


Mix the top ingredients to a cream!.
Grease 2 7" tins, share mixture between, bake 20mins at 180c in middle of fan assisted oven!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make some scones makes about 8

8oz Self Raising Flour
2oz Butter/Marg
1oz Caster Sugar
2oz Dried fruit (if you've got it)
Milk to mix

Rub the fat into the flour until it looks like breadcrumbs, mix in sugar and fruit!. Add the milk a little at a time, do not make it too wet - you want it about the same consistency as 'play dough'!. Lightly flour your worktop and roll out you scone mix to about 2cm thick, cut out scones and place on a baking tray, bake for 15 mins gas mk5Www@FoodAQ@Com

How about Brownies!.250g butter, 325g sugar, 4 eggs, 1tsp baking powder, 75g cocoa powder, 100g flour and 20g of white chocolate chips or buttons!.Pre heat oven at 180c
Melt butter under low heat cool it and beat in the eggs!. Add all the dry ingredients together and add the wet ingredient!. Line a rectangle baking tray with grease paper and grease with butter!. pour mixture in and bake for 20mins until the top is no longer glossy!. Under cook brownies is so much nicer than over cooked one!. leave to cool and chop into squares!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

what about my choca mocca cake, 6oz butter creamed together with 6oz caster sugar, beat in 3 eggs and fold in 4oz self raising flour along with 1oz hot chocolate powder or cocoa and 1oz of coffee I also add chocolate drops or chocolate buttons!. seperate into 2 tins and Cook in oven for 20 to 25 mins on 180'c and then tip out and cream together with butter cream!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

plain cake

4 egg
1+1/4 cup flour
1/2 tea spoon backing powder
melted butter 1 cup!.
vanilla esence 1 t spoon
1 cup sugar!.
2 table spoon milk

pre heat oven at 160 degree!. grease a 8 inch baking pot with butter and springkle with flower!. set aside!.

separate yolk and egg white!. beat the egg white untill its fluffy add suger beat again, add the vanlla and egg yolk!.

combine flour, baking powder gradually add the flower mixer and fold in with a gentle hand!. then put the milk and melted butter!. if u have raisin, nuts at home u can put that also!.

bake for 35 min!.!. check the cake by pocking it with a some thing!. if its comes out clean that means its cooked!.!.!. if not then back for another 10 min!.!.

weigh 2 eggs then use the same amount of butter, flour and sugar!.
make a cream with the sugar an butter, then add the eggs and flour!. mix until smooth!.
bake in the oven at 150° for about 30 minutes!. when you put a knife in the middle of the cake it should come out clean when it's done!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the best i think if u ask someone near u that can bake so u learn from he/she!.recipes are useless for u bcos ur too green!.if u can taste the love for cooking that satisfaction is beyond words!.yur life gets a downer so what learn how to bake yur first best cake n share it with people of yur choice the ones u like!.its better than the taste actually!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
