Seafood pasta recipe?!


Question: Seafood pasta recipe!?
Anyone got a really, really good seafood pasta recipe!? I don't use canned seafood, can't stand the tinny taste, so I nned a recipe that is not too expensive and too fussy as this will also cater for kids too!. So a good healthy recipe that will please everyone, kids included!.

This is one of my favorite recipes!. It's actually from Weight Watchers, but you would NEVER know it!. I serve it over pasta or egg noodles!. Please keep in mind the key to this recipe tasting so delicious is using FRESH everything (parsley, lemon rind & juice)!. I also add bay scallops to this as well!. Hope you enjoy!.

GARLIC BAKED SHRIMP

Cooking Spray
1 1/4 Lb!. Medium (uncooked) shrimp (peeled and de-veined)
1/2 c!. Bread Crumbs
3 Tsp!. Parsley (finely chopped)
1 tsp!. Lemon rind (grated)
1/4 tsp!. Salt
3 Cloves of garlic (minced)
2 Tsp!. Fresh lemon juice
4 tsp!. Olive Oil

Preheat oven to 400 degrees!. Place shrimp in a 9x11 pan (I use pyrex)!. Combine bread crumbs, parsley, lemon rind, salt and garlic!. Stir in oil and juice!. Sprinkle crumb mixture over shrimp!. Bake at 400 13-15 minutes, until crumbs are browned!. Makes 4 servings!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1/4 cup olive oil
4 green onion, white and green parts chopped
1/4 lb smoked sausage, cut into thin slices
3 garlic clove, minced
2 jalapeno chile, minced
1 (28 ounce) can tomato, crushed
1 (8 ounce) jar roasted red pepper, cut into thin strips
3 tablespoons sherry wine vinegar
3/4 teaspoon salt
pepper
1/2 lb shrimp
1/2 lb scallops
1/2 lb squid, cut into bite size pieces
1 piece sole fillet, cut into bite size pieces (about 1/2 pound)
1 lb pappardelle pasta (or wide egg noodles)
12 kalamata olive, sliced
2 tablespoons caper, drained
1 tablespoon sage, chopped
Directions
1In a large dutch oven over medium high heat heat oil and then add onions, sausage, garlic and chile!. Cook for about 4-6 minutes, stirring often or until vegetables are soft!.
2Add tomatoes, roasted pepper, vinegar, salt and pepper and bring to a boil over high heat!. Reduce heat to low and cook for about 15 minutes!.
3Add seafood (shrimp - sole) to pot and cook for 5-8 minutes or until seafood is done!. Set aside!.
4While sauce is cooking prepare pasta according to package directions, drain but reserve one cup of cooking liquid!.
5Stir olives, capers and sage into the sauce!. Toss pasta with sauce adding the reserved pasta water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Shrimp Alfredo with Penne Pasta

1 box of Penne Pasta
12-18 Jumbo Prawns or Large Shrimp
Garlic Powder
Onion Salt
Obay Seasoning
Pepper
Butter
Olive Oil

4 Servings of dried Pasta cooked to liking
Add salt and olive oil to pasta while cooking, drain
Jumbo Prawns, deveined and shelled
Garlic Powder, Obay seasoning, pepper, Onion Salt
Butter
Saute your Prawns in the above seasoning until just done
Add the entire contents of your saute pan into the pasta!.
Add one bottle of Three Cheese Alfredo Sauce to the mixture!. Add more Onion Salt, Garlic Powder and Obay Seasoning to taste!. Mix and there you go: A fast easy dish that is so good!

PASTA A LA POOKIE

1 lb!. of surimi, crab, scallops, shrimp or your choice of seafood or crawfish
8 oz!. sour cream
2 oz!. heavy cream
2 tbsp!. cooking wine (optional)
2 tbsp!. basil
1 clove garlic or equivalent, chopped
1 dash salt
1/4 c!. onion, chopped coarsely
1 sprig parsley (garnish)
1 pkg!. linguini or cappellini
Sliced lemon (optional)

Saute onion, garlic and add seafood!. Lightly brown; add wine!. Add basil!. Stir!. Add 4 oz!. sour cream!. Bring to a slow boil!. Add 2 oz!. heavy cream and sour cream!. Simmer; stir often!.
In a separate pan, bring 6 cups water to fast boil!. Add pasta; slow boil for 8-10 minutes; strain!.

Portion noodles as desired per serving plate!.

1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 (28-ounce) can tomato puree
1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
1 uncooked lobster tail, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 pound jumbo shrimp (about 22/pound), shelled and deveined
1 squid, cleaned and cut into 1-inch pieces
1 tablespoon freshly chopped basil
Pinch red pepper flakes
1 pound cooked linguini
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano

In a large saute pan over medium-high heat, saute onion and garlic in olive oil until soft!. Add tomato puree and tomato paste!. Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes!. Add lobster!. After 5 minutes, add shrimp!. After another 2 minutes, add calamari!. The stew should be done in 2 minutes!. Do not over cook calamari or it will toughen!. Add basil and red pepper flakes!. Cook your favorite pasta(drain) then start to add shrimp, mayo, mustard, chopped celery, salt, pepper, add ingridients depending how sweet(mayo) or tangy(mustard)!. Taste as you go so that you'll know what flavor you want to be!.

Saute' chopped garlic in butter and olive oil!.!.!.add shrimp and scallops, some chopped basil and saute' just til' the fish is half cooked!. Throw in a good quality crushed tomatoes!.!.!.!.redpack or even better Parmalat's Pomi and red hot pepper flakes!.!.!.to taste!. Shrimp tail off and cooked saute in garlic and butter, rottini pasta (cooked and rinsed), mix them together in a pot, simmer for 7 min, then top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
