Answers:
Absolutely! My family just loves Stroganoff so I cook it with several variations (ground beef, left over roast, stewing beef, chopped beef in the slow cooker etc!.) I also use it over several things besides just egg noodles!. I serve it over several types of pasta shapes, mashed potatoes and small oven baked or pan fried potatoes as well as over rice!) My family seems to love them all, in fact I think the current favorite is mashed potatoes, so go figure!.!.!.!. remember your "best dish" is the one everybody likes the best!Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes!. For a change of pace we serve it over rice!. I would make extra " gravy" cuz rice absorbs more liquid unlike egg noodles!. I mean, keep the mushroom/ meat the same, but make more gravy for the rice absorbion!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Absolutely, one of the authentic classic sides for Stroganov is French fries with a sprinkle of paprika!.
