Answers:
Charcoal rules has it with the Royal Oak!. I use over 2500 pounds a year and use only Royal Oak briquettes they last 2 times as long as kingsford and have not changed the formula!. kingsford briquettes are now smaller in size and burn up faster!.
Sometimes i use 100% mesquite natural charcoal it has less ash and burns much hotter than briquettes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

natural wood charcoal burns to ash quickly compared to the evil briquettes but it does not contain any nasty chemical additives like glues binders and accelerants that make your food taste like a$$! natual charcoal lights quickly so you can continue to add to your fire throughout the day and keep it going with no trouble!. build a small fire and add to it as needed, you cannot do this with the artificial junk because of their phoney additives!. natural charcoal is ready faster and needs less coaxing to light for the same reasons!. if it is too much trouble for you switch to propane!. propane is way better than briquettes for convience and the results are similarWww@FoodAQ@Com

It sounds like your charcoal storage is the problem!. Store it as air tight as possible!. Charcoal absorbs moisture quicker than Pampers!. Once this happens it is as good as gone!.

Kingsford has the most petroleum fillers than any charcoal!. If possible use 100% hardwood briquettes!.

Royal Oak will cook circles around Kingsford!. They just don't have the advertising budget!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i like kingsford!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
