Question: I made thai penut chicken last night and made enough for us to eat it two more times!. It got left out for 5 hr
Is this okay to still eat!? I made it and ate it and I had a migraine so I went to bed and my man did the dishes but left the pan with the food in it on the stove!. I got up at 1am and covered it and put it in the fridge!. Will this be okay to eat or not!? I'm starving and and was hopeing to eat this for lunches this week!. also I'm pregnant do you think I should just toss it!. I'm so mad why wouldn't he have covered it and put it away!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

5 hours is a bit beyond the rcommended time for food to safely sit at room temp!. Fully cooked and reheated to a high enough temp!., it should be alright to eat!. Just be sure to heat it well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My opinion is!.!. if you are a strong and healthy person it should be fine to eat!.
If you are susceptible to colds, infections and such, don't!.

I leave stuff out alll the time and have never been sick from it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't eat it, no way!.!.!.gave my brother food poisoning like that!. (when i was little, about 25 years ago) Please don't, especially since you are pregnant!.
