try bi-carb soda I use it on all my burnt pots use a liberal quantity in the pot add water boil until the pot is dry (this takes a bit of care) because you don't want to do more damage but when there is just bi-carb left scrape the pot and the burnt crap comes off with the bi-carb this will most of get it fairly clean with out any scrubbing then a quick once over with a scourer and detergent should look like new with min effortWww@FoodAQ@Com
Scrape off as much as you can, add some dishwasher soap and cleanser let sit for a few hours!. Scrape again, rinse, add dishwasher soap again then heat it on stove until it starts to boil!. It will all come off as you stir the suds around!. I do it myself when I forget to watch the pot!. It works for me! No elbow grease needed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Take a scoop of washing up powder, add boiling water to about half way up - careful, it will rise up otherwise!. Allow it to boil on the stove for a few minutes and turn off heat source!. Allow to cool and then wash out!. It should lift burnt stuff off, but really stubborn bits might need a second go!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
